Refund policy
Easy Returns & Exchanges Within 14 Days
Got something you need to send back? No problem! You have 14 days from the day your order was delivered to initiate a return or exchange. Just make sure that the item is in the same condition you received it: unused, unaltered, and with all the original tags and packaging intact.
Your Right of Withdrawal (EU & UK Customers)
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. EU customers can exercise this right directly by using the "Withdraw from contract here" button in their account. All other customers, including those in the UK, can initiate a withdrawal by contacting us at shop@worldchess.com. You will receive confirmation by email once your request has been received.
Damaged or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged or with any items missing, you must provide pictures of the outer packaging with the shipping label clearly visible. Without this evidence, we will be unable to accept your claim.
How to Start Your Return or Exchange:
— Reach Out: Contact us at shop@worldchess.com for help or to request an exchange. EU customers can also use the "Withdraw from contract here" button in their account.
— Ship It Back: Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We do not offer free return shipping labels at this time. Return labels are available for EU and US customers only — these will be sent to you automatically once your return request is submitted. The shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.
— Notify Us: Please let us know before you send your item back and share the shipping details as soon as possible. We can't accept returns without prior notification.
Getting Your Refund:
Once we receive your return, we'll process your refund to the original payment method within 1-2 business days. Your bank might take an additional 1-3 business days to deposit the funds back into your account. This timing is based on standard bank processes, and unfortunately, it's not something World Chess can speed up.
