Mi Sistema y Práctica de Ajedrez
Como ajedrecista, Aron Nimzowitsch (1886-1935) perteneció a los mejores. En sus años de apogeo, el maestro nacido en Letonia estuvo clasificado tercero en el mundo, detrás de Capablanca y Alekhine. Sus mayores éxitos fueron el primer lugar en Dresde en 1926 (8½/9, un punto y medio por delante de Alekhine) y Carlsbad 1929 (15/21, por delante de Capablanca, Spielmann y Rubinstein).
Sin embargo, Nimzowitsch será recordado ante todo como el fundador del movimiento hipermoderno y el autor de los clásicos indiscutibles Mi Sistema y Praxis del Ajedrez. En su primer libro, expuso sus teorías sobre la profilaxis, los bloqueos y mucho más, proporcionando además ideas innovadoras sobre las estructuras de peones. En la secuela, Nimzowitsch demostró cómo había probado con éxito sus teorías en sus partidas.
Las obras maestras de Nimzowitsch son hitos únicos en la historia del ajedrez. Sin leer a Nimzowitsch, tu educación ajedrecística no puede estar completa. If the chessboard gets scratched,clean the smudges with a little damp piece of fabric.
If the chessboard feels sticky, wipe with a piece of cloth.
Dust regularly using a dry, soft piece of fabric.
Use beeswax or 3M polish once a monthfor the shine of the board as the boards have HV melamine lacquer coating on them.
Keep chess pieces away from humidity and heat.
It can cause cracking, discolouration, and warping of chess pieces.
Do not use 3M polish for chessmen.
