Das Set der Schachweltmeisterschaft 2022 (Home Edition in Schwarz und Weiß) wurde von Daniel Weil von Pentagram entworfen. Das ikonische Design des offiziellen Championship-Sets bleibt erhalten, die Größe des Sets ist jedoch an den Heim- und Vereinsgebrauch angepasst. Die King-Größe beträgt 3 Zoll und die Gesamtgröße des Sets ist 20 % kleiner als das Championship-Set. Die Teile für dieses Set werden von erfahrenen Handwerkern aus Buchsbaum handgefertigt. Es ist perfekt für den Einsatz zu Hause oder im Club.

Auffallend ist die Farbe des Bretts: Tiefdunkle Farbtöne ergänzen die Stücke. Das Set sorgt für Gesprächsstoff in Ihrem Wohnzimmer oder Büro. Es wurde aus hochwertigem MDF und Walnussfurnier gefertigt. Das klassische Weltschach-Sechseck ist auf beiden Seiten mit Siebdruck bedruckt.

Das von Daniel Weil von Pentagram für World Chess entworfene Set ist eines der kultigsten Schachdesigns der Welt. Das vom Staunton inspirierte Set wurde mit Hilfe von Vladimir Kramnik und Magnus Carlsen entworfen und erstmals 2013 vorgestellt. Dieses Design wird ausschließlich bei Spielen der Schachweltmeisterschaft verwendet.

Keep the chessboard dry at all times, and avoid any form of exposure to water.

Water damages the board.

Keep the board away from extreme temperatures,humidity, an air conditioner, and a fan.

Humidity makes your board expand and contract.

Keep the chessboard away from direct sunlight or harsh artificial light to avoid damages.

If the chessboard gets scratched,clean the smudges with a little damp piece of fabric.

If the chessboard feels sticky, wipe with a piece of cloth.

Dust regularly using a dry, soft piece of fabric.

Use beeswax or 3M polish once a monthfor the shine of the board as the boards have HV melamine lacquer coating on them.

Keep chess pieces away from humidity and heat.

It can cause cracking, discolouration, and warping of chess pieces.

Do not use 3M polish for chessmen.
