Each set is the championship silhouette, as developed by Daniel Weil (Pentagram) and debuted at elite events since 2013, such as the London Candidates with Magnus Carlsen winning on tiebreaks. They are weighted (about 550 g/set) and injection-molded in a custom, hand-polished mold to provide a smooth handle and readability of the board. The 86 mm king is just the right size to fit on the cardboard boards which are provided in sizes of 48 mm square and this will provide you with the proportions which the players will have at the club level.
