Ein komplettes Schachspiel in Turniergröße mit einem 3,875 Zoll großen König und einer Basis mit 1,75 Zoll Durchmesser. Die Schachfiguren werden von unseren Meisterhandwerkern aus Hölzern höchster Güte handgeschnitzt. Die Schachfiguren sind schwer beschwert, mit luxuriösen Billardtuch-Basispolstern und einem wunderschönen Finish. Das Design des Schachspiels Zagreb '59 ist eine Adaption des beliebtesten Schachspiels, das bei den großen internationalen Schachturnieren in den 1950er und 1960er Jahren verwendet wurde, insbesondere beim Kandidatenkampf um die Weltmeisterschaft, der 1959 in Bied, Zagreb, stattfand.
Das Schachspiel wird mit beiden Königskreuzen geliefert, die leicht abnehmbar sind, sodass der Besitzer zwischen beiden Stilen wechseln kann. Das Schachspiel wurde für jahrelangen Gebrauch (und Missbrauch) entwickelt, da es viele der kunstvollen Details, die man üblicherweise bei Schachspielen findet und die im Eifer des Gefechts beschädigt werden können, vermissen lässt. So verfügt das Schachspiel beispielsweise über verstärkte Bauernränder, stilisierte Springer und minimale Damenzinnen für unübertroffene Haltbarkeit. DAS SCHACHBRETT
Das in Spanien gefertigte Standard-Schachbrett aus traditionellem Blackwood / Vogelaugenahorn mit Hochglanzoberfläche besteht aus Feldern aus dunklem Blackwood und hellem Vogelaugenahorn mit einem Rahmen aus Blackwood. Das furnierte Schachbrett ist 1,27 cm dick und hat eine Hochglanzoberfläche.

Water damages the board.
Keep the board away from extreme temperatures,humidity, an air conditioner, and a fan.
Humidity makes your board expand and contract.
Keep the chessboard away from direct sunlight or harsh artificial light to avoid damages.
If the chessboard gets scratched,clean the smudges with a little damp piece of fabric.
If the chessboard feels sticky, wipe with a piece of cloth.
Dust regularly using a dry, soft piece of fabric.
Use beeswax or 3M polish once a monthfor the shine of the board as the boards have HV melamine lacquer coating on them.
Keep chess pieces away from humidity and heat.
It can cause cracking, discolouration, and warping of chess pieces.
Do not use 3M polish for chessmen.
