Questo set di scacchi a grandezza naturale da torneo presenta un Re alto 3,75" (base di 1,7" di diametro). I pezzi degli scacchi sono intagliati a mano dai nostri maestri artigiani e realizzati con legni di altissima qualità. I pezzi sono pesantemente bilanciati con basi in pelle inglese dorata sotto i Re, basi in tessuto da biliardo di lusso sugli altri pezzi e una splendida finitura. Il set di scacchi di lusso della Collector Series è stato realizzato per replicare il design e le proporzioni del modello originale Staunton, registrato da Nathaniel Cooke nel marzo 1849 e prodotto per la prima volta da Jaques di Londra nel settembre 1849. La caratteristica distintiva di questo set è il design a giunto aperto del Vescovo e del Cavallo, ispirato ai nobili destrieri del Partenone greco (Marmi di Elgin).
Il set di scacchi di lusso della Collector Series rappresenta una combinazione perfetta di bellezza distinta e funzionalità. È stato progettato per resistere alle sollecitazioni del gioco pratico mantenendo un’eleganza che è diventata il marchio distintivo di un set di scacchi House of Staunton.
I pezzi sono nuovi e ogni set comprende 34 pezzi, incluse quattro Regine.
LA SCACCHIERA
Realizzata in Spagna, la scacchiera in legno House of Staunton Superior Traditional Elm Burl / Acero Bird's Eye presenta caselle in Elm Burl (scuro) e Acero Bird's Eye (chiaro) con una cornice in Elm Burl e caselle da 2,25". Questa scacchiera impiallacciata è spessa 0,5', ha una finitura satinata e un bellissimo bordo sagomato.
LA SCATOLA DEGLI SCACCHI
La scatola premium in mogano per scacchi presenta due scomparti rivestiti in tessuto da biliardo verde e cerniere a quadrante in ottone con serratura e chiave.

Keep the board away from extreme temperatures,humidity, an air conditioner, and a fan.
Humidity makes your board expand and contract.
Keep the chessboard away from direct sunlight or harsh artificial light to avoid damages.
If the chessboard gets scratched,clean the smudges with a little damp piece of fabric.
If the chessboard feels sticky, wipe with a piece of cloth.
Dust regularly using a dry, soft piece of fabric.
Use beeswax or 3M polish once a monthfor the shine of the board as the boards have HV melamine lacquer coating on them.
Keep chess pieces away from humidity and heat.
It can cause cracking, discolouration, and warping of chess pieces.
Do not use 3M polish for chessmen.
