Sapelli Diagonal Frame Chess Board is a handcrafted marquetry board made with authentic wooden veneers by Rechapados Ferrer. It blends sapelli and sycamore veneers for a warm, classic contrast, then adds a distinctive touch: the sapelli frame is mounted diagonally, giving the board a more architectural, “designed” look without distracting from play.
Finished in matte, it stays calm under bright lighting (less glare, more focus) and feels equally at home in a serious playing setup or as a display piece.
